tERC and ASBP present a joint session on how artificial intelligence is being applied to structural steel reuse, drawing on early learnings from the STEEL-TRIAGE project with Efestos Hub.

We’ll hear how AI-assisted condition assessment is being used to speed up reuse decisions on reclaimed steel, from digitising stock and capturing defects through to generating digital passports for individual members. The session looks at what this means for confidence, speed and scale in steel reuse, and what it could mean for wider practice across the sector.
